On Nov 18, 2019, a meeting was held with Indiana State Police Cyber Crime & Investigative Technologies Section, Indianapolis lead by Mr. Brian Bunner, First Sergeant, Indiana State Police with his team. During this meeting, Cyber Security Experts from Nepal had two way communications and got to learn on Cyber Security issues, Cyber Threats, Digital Forensics related information. Mr. Bunner also gave us a tour to his labs which helped us know about how things are done at Indianapolis.
The Cyber crime & Investigative Technologies Section provides law enforcement officers assistance in criminal investigations where any type of digital media was used as an integral part of the crime. Many of the crimes this section works with involve developing intelligence information, cyber-crime, and child exploitation. This meeting will bring together local and state stakeholders to discuss cyber crime trends, investigative approaches, capacity, and challenges at the state and local level.
